NIKE COACH OF THE YEAR CLINIC

In 2020, Bobby McClarin elected to serve as the regional director of the NIKE Coach of the Year Clinics under Five Star Heart. As you would expect, Five Star Heart brought back NIKE Coach of the Year Clinic in record breaking fashion at the Wind Creek Bethlehem. The two-day event attracted more than 375 middle school and high school coaches from across PA, NY, NJ, MD, DE, and VA as the likes of Ohio State's Ryan Day and Penn State's James Franklin united in Bethlehem to talk football, cultivating a winning culture, and developing assistant coaches.   In addition to over 40 collegiate presenters from DIII to FCS institutions, Ohio State Legend Maurice Clarett met Coach Day for the first time ever and shared his story as well. The event served as Five Star Heart's primary fundraising and exposure event generating $7,5000 in net proceeds to support our mission. The event was sidelined in 2021 and 2022 due to the pandemic. In 2023 and 2024, Five Star Heart resurrected the nation’s premiere coaches clinic eclipsing 375 coaches in attendance and raising $7,500 both years at the Wind Creek Bethlehem. We hope to see you again in 2026 under the Coach of the Year national clinic series.
