Heart of a Hawk Ambassador Program
The Heart of a Hawk Ambassador Program was created by The Five Star Heart Project to recognize and support the Lehigh University Football student-athletes who best embody the “5-Star Heart” standard. We believe that these athletes are the “BEST of the NEST” - individuals wo have earned the privilege of being “5-Star Heart” Ambassadors through their leadership on the gridiron, excellence in the classroom, unwavering character and commitment to making an impact in the Lehigh Valley. By supporting these athletes, we ensure that the next generation youth in our community is inspired by role models who define what it means to WIN on and off the field.
Program Overview & Objectives: Leveraging the Positive Impact of Lehigh Leaders
Our Heart of a Hawk Ambassadors are the primary catalysts for fulfilling Five Star Heart’s mission. Because of the unique influence and relatable leadership these players possess, they provide invaluable service to our organization and the Bethlehem community. Through this program, Five Star Heart invests in these student-athletes to facilitate high-impact mentorship for middle school aged youth.
Ambassadors add value to Five Star Heart’s mission by:
Driving Community Impact: Leading their teammates in the Heart of Hawk Football Clinic Series held at Broughal Middle School and other venues
Modeling Service: Spearheading days-of-caring and community give back endeavors alongside middle school student-athletes
Empowering Youth: Facilitating mentorship workshops for middle school student-athletes inspiring them to “WIN” the day
Sharing the Journey: Utilizing the Heart of the Hawk podcast to discuss overcoming adversity, the importance of mentorship, and their experience on the mountain
Amplifying the Mission: Elevating Five Star Heart’s brand through social media engagement and high visibility leadership
Mentoring “Younger Brothers”: Showcasing football skill and sportsmanship at Goodman Stadium, serving as a direct inspiration to the middle school student-athletes who look up to them

This is where passion meets a purpose beyond the game. Our goal is to raise $100,000 to fund this initiative and provide our Heart of a Hawk Ambassadors with resources they need to lead from the front.
