The Heart of a Hawk Ambassador Program has been established in partnership with Lehigh University Football as we unite to inspire the next generation of student athletes on and off the athletic fields of competition with the BEST of the NEST. A select group of Lehigh University Football student athletes have EARNED their privilege to serve as a 5-Star Heart Ambassador as a result of their leadership on the gridiron, in the classroom, and as person of character in the Brown and White.

Heart of a Hawk Program Objectives & Overview

Our Heart of a Hawk Ambassadors are called upon to fulfill Five Star Heart’s mission. Under Five Star Heart and alongside their teammates, our ambassadors inspire, energize, and influence the next generation of middle school student athletes by serving as relatable role models who uphold the Five Star Heart’s standards. Through this dynamic program, Five Star Heart WINS, Lehigh Football WINS, and the Bethlehem community WINS. Ambassadors shall be afforded the opportunity to:

• Lead their teammates in the Heart of Hawk Football Clinic Series held at Broughal Middle School and other locations

• Lead their teammates and middle school student athletes in days-of-caring and other community give back endeavors

• Lead mentorship workshops for middle school student athletes inspiring them to WIN the day

• Build their own personal brand

• Participate in the Heart of a Hawk podcast discussing their life’s journey, their greatest adversity, their mentor, their message, and their experience on the Mountain

• Elevate Five Star Heart’s brand through social media

• Showcase their football skills and leadership qualities by leading their teammates in front of middle school student athletes (their younger brothers) on Saturdays at Goodman Stadium

With the support of the Lehigh Football alumni family, we are ready to answer the call as one unified, committed team where a passion meets a purpose beyond the game.
